Music Department

Jerald Glick

Music Department

Choir, orchestra and small groups – there are many ways to be active in the music department at Union Bible College. Students have had opportunities to travel extensively in these groups and learn firsthand about ministry and worship. Traveling in a small group also gives students the opportunity to pay their tuition and room and board. Not only that, but it is a lot of fun!

Jerald Glick is the Music Department chairman, and along with the other music faculty, it is their goal not only to inspire students to musical excellence but also to worship God through their music.

Union Bible College offers

  • Bachelor of Arts in Sacred Music
  • Bachelor of Arts in Religion with major in Sacred Music
  • Bachelor of Arts in Music Education
  • Associate of Arts in Sacred Music

Along with a core program of Bible classes and general studies, the music major will study music theory, music history and literature, music evangelism and worship, and teaching elementary music among other music classes. They also major in voice or the instrument of their choice.

If pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in sacred music, the music major also gains great experience through a music internship, such as teaching an elementary music class for a semester.
